Students can earn 5 credits per semester. Students can enroll in up to 3 semester courses during summer session.

Student will not be penalized if they do not login each day. However, students should plan to work consistently throughout the session.

Yes, however transcripts will not be ready until the end of the session.

Each course is different based on the level and subject area and the estimated time to complete a class varies. However, students are expected to work about 2-3 hours a day per semester course in order to complete all work by the end of the session.

Students will need a computer and WiFi to access their coursework during the summer session.

Yes. There are open office hours during the Summer Session from 9 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Students may contact the teacher to schedule an appointment Monday through Friday.

Students will need stable Wifi and a laptop/electronic device. Students will access course material (e.g., readings, videos, notes, activities, etc.) in their student portal.

Health with Sex Ed covers "inclusive and comprehensive sexual health education and HIV prevention education (as specified under EC §§ 51930-51939). ... The law additionally requires instruction be inclusive of all genders, sexual orientations, abilities, races, and cultural backgrounds and present medically accurate and unbiased information." The Health with Sex Ed curriculum covers topics required by EC §§ 51930-51939 including: "healthy relationships, prevention of pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, gender and sexual orientation, sexual assault and human trafficking, pregnancy, and local health resources." No. The summer session is asynchronous. Students will need to check-in with an Educational Facilitator, but will not need to attend in person. Students need to make sure all coursework is complete by August 5th.
