FAQs
Our 5-week summer session begins July 1st and ends August 5th, 2025.
​1. Lottery Families complete the online form to indicate the student's name, grade, school, and requested courses. | ​2. Text/Email Confirmation ITCS will send a link to the email on record for accepting families to complete the initial enrollment process. | ​3. Appointment Set up your appointment with the link in your text/ email confirmation. | 4. Registration Parents/ Guardians will come IN PERSON to complete their student's registration. | 5. Written Agreement Families will receive an email from noreply@schoolpathways.com to digitally sign the Written Agreement by 6/6/25. |
Yes, many courses are NCAA approved. The + icon next to a course title on the course list denotes which courses are NCAA approved.
Yes. IvyTech Charter School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC).
No, we do not offer those courses.
Please call the office to withdraw enrollment by July 7th.
Yes
Students can earn 5 credits per semester. Students can enroll in up to 3 semester courses during summer session.
Student will not be penalized if they do not login each day. However, students should plan to work consistently throughout the session.
Yes, however transcripts will not be ready until the end of the session.
Each course is different based on the level and subject area and the estimated time to complete a class varies. However, students are expected to work about 2-3 hours a day per semester course in order to complete all work by the end of the session.
Students will need a computer and WiFi to access their coursework during the summer session.
Yes. There are open office hours during the Summer Session from 9 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Students may contact the teacher to schedule an appointment Monday through Friday.
Students will need stable Wifi and a laptop/electronic device. Students will access course material (e.g., readings, videos, notes, activities, etc.) in their student portal.
Health with Sex Ed covers comprehensive sexual health education (i.e., "...Education regarding human development and sexuality, including education on pregnancy, contraception, and sexually transmitted infections. (§ 51931)) and HIV prevention education (i.e. "instruction on the nature of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and AIDS, methods
of transmission, strategies to reduce the risk of HIV infection, and social and public health issues related to HIV and
AIDS. (§ 51931)").
Health without Sex Ed does not cover those topics.

No. The summer session is asynchronous. Students will need to check-in with an Educational Facilitator, but will not need to attend in person. Students need to make sure all coursework is complete by August 5th.
